WAMTEC GOLD HELP DESK:

If you are having problems, please email me, but please read this first:

COMMON PROBLEM NUMBER 1: "I did not receive replies to my emails...or my tape requests..."

The common problem we have are folks who give us a bad email address when they sign up, and when we try to contact them, their email rejects and bounces back. Some folks use Yahoo and other free email services like Hotmail (which are notorious services for losing emails), or their mail box is full, and thus we cannot reach them. Others have spam blockers or filters turned or firewalls turned on, that prevent us from reaching you. Here is a list of the current members who have recently joined and we are unable to reach them. If you do not receive your ID and Password within 24hrs...make sure your email box is not full or you have some spam filter turned on that is blocking us from reaching you.

please contact us using a DIFFERENT email address, because the one you gave us is invalid or not working.

If you notice any problems with the site or broken links, please let me know. Here are some other common problems listed below.

regards

MK

OTHER COMMON PROBLEMS:

I CAN'T GET THE VIDEO CLIP TO PLAY ONLINE: If you are on dial up or have a slow connection speed the videoclip may not play smoothly online...so just right click the link and save the file to your pc and play it offline instead.

WHEN I CLICK ON THE VIDEO CLIP, INSTEAD OF MEDIA PLAYER COMING UP, I GET ALL THIS GIBBERISH CODE: That can happen if you are using the Netscape brower. Bill Gates owns media player and supports it thru his Internet Explorer browser...and therefore Microsoft is not that interested in supporting Netscape users...so if the clip does not play and you are using Netscape, then use Internet Explorer as your browser instead.

I AM ON DIALUP, AND WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE CLIP, IT WILL NOT PLAY SMOOTHLY: Video clips can only run smoothly on a PC that is at least a Pentium II class 400 mhz or higher machine. They will not play properly on older PCs (i.e. PC's bought prior to 1998) because the processor speed and system memory will not be sufficient to deliver the video. You need to use a post-1998 PC for these to work.
